The Pug Info Webring is designed to link sites on the Internet that share the experience of actually living with a Pug or Pugs. So many people are looking to find out what Pugs are really like and if the Pug will fit into their lifestyle. This ring will help them find sites that give them some insight into life with Pugs.
Qualifications for the ring are simple:
|
First, your site must in some way describe living with Pugs. You can tell stories, show pictures (but there must be some descriptive text!), talk about medical problems and just about anything else that pertains to the actual things that happen with your Pug. This is a ring about INFORMATION, not just pictures.
Second, your site must be complete, not 'under construction', and have working links and pictures.
Third, ABSOLUTELY NO PUGS FOR SALE. This is not a ring for advertisers! Breeders are welcome so long as they do not have continuous advertisements on their site for dogs or puppies for sale and meet the other qualifications.
Fourth, No commercial sites, solicitations or advertisers. This is not a ring designed to raise funds. Rescue organizations are welcome, but the ring is about information, not fundraising or businesses. It should be obvious that any site promoting hate crimes, non-family material, or any form of illegal activity -- including pyramid schemes and copyright violations -- will not be allowed to join or remain in the ring.

Applying to join the Ring is easy: Click the link just below this paragraph. You'll fill out the form asking to join and in return, you will receive an email with the HTML code for the webring which you can then paste onto your web page. You will also need to copy the graphics (the sitting Pug and the Pug Info letters) and save them to your website as well. Please note that your site must still be approved for the ring after you have the ring code located on it. Applying does not guarantee that your site will be accepted. Please don't apply if you don't meet the guidelines above.
This page has had visitors interested in learning about the Pug breed since July 18, 1999.
